Free Movie!

The SLC Film Center is hosting a FREE family screening of Dragon Hunters on Saturday, February 5th at 10:00am at the Sorenson Unity Center (1383 S. 900 W.)

"Hold your breath and get ready to be whisked along on an adventure to save the world from an evil dragon.  Based on a popular French TV series, this impeccable animation tells the classic adventure of a band of eclectic characters focused on a single mission to save the world!  Recommended for children ages 6+.  The film includes some violence and intense scenes."  - SLC Film Center

Youth Film Festival & Free Movie Screenings for Students

The SLC Film Center is hosting their first annual film festival for children and youth.  The Tumbleweeds Film Festival will run April 1 - 3, 2011 in Salt Lake City. 

The films are for audiences of children and youth ages 4-14.  The festival will present a jam-packed program of feature-length and short films from around the world - with some in their original languages!  Screenings will be held at the Broadway Centre Cinema, Tower Theatre, and Sorenson Unity Center and tickets are $5/person.

The SLC Film Center is offering three free screenings for school groups at the Broadway at 10:00 a.m on the following dates.

- Wednesday, March 30 - grades 7-9

- Thursday, March 31 - grades 4-6

- Friday, April 1 - grades K-3
